A novelty on the market – the «Legion» platform boasting a capability to fire 18.5×45 mm non-lethal knock-down, flashbang and irritating ammunition. The shield is controlled with one hand only.

Due to its design and construction the shield doesn’t clearly show the tactical capabilities of law enforcement officers, and is more effective in neutralizing the most dangerous violators. Effective fire can be made at a distance of up to 35 m.

SIGHT

On the upper part of the shield there is a sight, which includes the following aiming devices: a laser aiming device and an open sight.

The on/off button of the laser aiming device is on the right-hand of the sight.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SHOOTING MODULE

The 12-round magazine is installed and removed above the modular shooting package. The magazine is fixed by a catch. In order to remove the magazine, it is necessary to push the lever on the right-hand side of the case.

Inside the case of the shooting module there are electrical peens, which provide electric contact with cartridges.

At the top part of the handle there is a shooting button. When pressing the button, the electric circuit of the complex generates an electrical impulse, and a shot is carried out.

On the surface of the handle there are three buttons for section choice (4 rounds for each section). In front of each button there is numerical tagging corresponding to the section number. Also, the section number tagging is marked on the upper part of the magazine.

SHOOTING MODULE

The module can be installed on all kinds of any shockproof and any bulletproof shields that are put into service in a particular country.

NON-LETHAL AMMUNITION

The «Legion» can fire 18.5 mm non-lethal cartridges of traumatic, flashbang and lachrymatory action. Cartridges of the same type or different types can be inserted into the clip without reloading.

For example, the first section can contain impact shocking cartridges, the second one – flashbang cartridges, and the third one – lacrimination (gas) cartridges. In order to shoot using the selected type of cartridges, it is necessary to press the section choice button with the corresponding number and then press the shooting button.
